‘Airlift’ gets Overwhelmed Pre-Release Response

Raja Krishna Menon’s directorial war thriller film Airlift is all set to hit screens this Friday with huge excitement of audience. It is featuring the superstar Akshay Kumar with very beautiful actress Nimrat Kaur in lead roles, the fans of the star are showing immense craze towards his forthcoming film and creating huge buzz about it on social media. We are very well aware about the quirky marketing strategy of Akshay, which makes his films flying high on buzz from a long time before release.

Last year Akshay delivered the same kind of genre action thriller based film Baby, that was received huge appreciation from audience as well as critics. The latest one is also getting overwhelmed pre-release response from star fans and expected to get extraordinary response at box office after its release. Reportedly, Airlift is releasing on approx. 2550 screens in India and 500 screens in overseas. The advance booking for the film has already been started and receiving good response with it.

Still the advance booking is open in selected cities, where most of the theaters have reported over 50% of booking. Considering all the reports, the Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift is expected to record near about 70% of occupancy across the country and its opening day domestic collection is estimated to be more than 14 crores*. It will has to face some loss in occupancy as well as business due to opposite release adult comedy Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3. The initial buzz will help the film to run smoothly till weekend and the further performance will depend on audience reaction.
