‘Airlift’ has Grossed over 124 Cr in 3 Weeks
Superstar Akshay Kumar’s last month released war thriller film ‘Airlift’ based on a true event, has completed its three weeks journey at box office with tremendous performance through out. The film was released with huge hype among audience and as expected received overwhelmed response from critics as well as viewers across the country and overseas. Airlift has registered number of records at box office to the name of Akshay, and still running to earn more profit. Everyone liked the film and appreciated the brilliant performance given by the lead star.
In last three weeks, Airlift has done the business of total 124.20 crores from Indian screens, that includes 83.50 crores of first week, 28.79 crores of second week and 11.91 crores of third week. From overseas it has raked around 40 crores till 21st day. With these figures the worldwide collection of Airlift has become nearly 169.20 crores. As per report, the film has grossed over 220 crores at worldwide box office including shares.
Now it has entered in fourth week and facing heavy competition due to new releases. On its fourth Friday, the film witnessed lower response than previous day and minted the amount of 0.51 crore* as its 22nd day collection. Till the end of the day, total domestic collection of Airlift is recorded as 124.71 crores*. It is expected to take little rise in its business on Saturday and Sunday.
