Airlift 25th Day Collection, Still stands as a winner on Box Office

‘Airlift’ still away from Rowdy Rathore

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s one of the most appreciated movies ‘Airlift’ is still there at box office as a winner on top. The last month released this true story based war thriller has showed phenomenal performance in its early weeks and even till now it is increasing its total. Airlift has given a best start to the new year and registered many new record to the name of Akshay. It has received super positive reviews from critics as well as b-town celebs, which created strong word of mouth about it across the country and overseas as well.

Airlift did the business of total 124.20 crores in last three weeks with terrific audience response from India, that includes 83.50 crores of first week, 28.79 crores of second week and 11.91 crores of third week. Now the movie is running in the fourth week and minted the amount of 1.88 crore*, comprises with 0.51 crore of Friday, 0.65 crore of Saturday and 0.72 crore of Sunday. Not only at domestic box office but in overseas too, it has reported well and raked the business of total 43.52 crores till the end of its fourth weekend.

Now once again, the movie has entered in weekdays and being normal working days; started reporting low business. On Monday, Airlift witnessed very less response and collected the amount of only 0.43 crore* as its 25th day collection. The figure is low but appreciable that it is still getting something considerable on box office, despite of new releases like Ghayal Once Again, Fitoor and Sanam Re. Airlift is now heading very slowly and still away from Akshay’s top grosser Rowdy Rathore.
