Airlift 26th Day Total Collection, Still far from ‘Rowdy Rathore’

Akshay Kumar’s Second Highest Grosser Film, aiming towards the First Position

Last month released very much appreciated film of superstar Akshay Kumar, Airlift has already become second highest grosser of his career so far. And now this second highest aiming towards the first position, which seems quite difficult. Within two weeks after release, Airlift has dominated the record of Akshay’s Holiday and Housefull 2, now stands at second after Rowdy Rathore. The film is still running on box office but not adding much to its account and heading with low business figures.

Airlift had showed terrific performance in early weeks and raked 124.20 crores till the end of its third week at domestic box office, it includes 83.50 crores of first week, 28.79 crores of second week and 11.91 crores of third week. In its fourth weekend, the film reported the business of around 1.88 crore* including 0.51 crore* of Friday, 0.65 crore* of Saturday and 0.72 crore* of Sunday. After 24 days, total collection of Airlift was calculated as 126.08 crores at domestic and 43.52 crores at overseas box office.

Now once again it has entered in weekdays and witnessing very low occupancy across the country. On Monday it received not much and raked the amount of 0.43 crore*. On the next day with slight more drop, it added 0.35 crore* to its account as 26th day collection. Till the end, total collection of Airlift is recorded as 126.86 crores* from Indian screens only.
