Because two much awaited Hindi movies- superstar Akshay Kumar starrer period thriller Rustom and handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan starrer epic adventure Mohenjo Daro are releasing on August 12. In the starting of the year, Eid was also supposed to witness such clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Raees and Salman Khan’s Sultan. But later Shahrukh postponed his movie to next year and Sultan enjoyed the solo release. This time too, everyone was expecting the same but no alteration has done, so the clash is confirmed.

If we compare the box office records of both the actors then Akshay Kumar who does 3-4 movies in a year, has five movies in 100 crores club whereas Hrithik has three, in which one is in 200 crores club too. Secondly, the highest opening of Akshay so far is 20.67 crores (Singh Is Bliing) whereas Hrithik has three openings higher than this- 27.54 crores (Bang Bang), 25.50 crores (Krrish 3) & 23 crores (Agneepath).

Thirdly, so far the highest domestic collection of Akshay is 133.25 crores (Rowdy Rathore) whereas Hrithik has two collection records higher than this- 244.92 crores (Krrish 3) & 181.03 crores (Bang Bang). So obviously Hrithik has far better box office records than Akshay. But still Rustom stands stronger than Mohenjo Daro in terms of pre-release hype, content, music & performance.

Now only fans or moviegoers, but entire film industry is looking more excited for Rustom over Mohenjo Daro. The reason behind this, is its thrilling trailer and soulful music; in which Mohenjo Daro lags behind. Also the Akshay received huge appreciation for his last movie Airlift, which was also based on true incident like Rustom. On the whole, both the movies are positively capable to attract audience. Let see which one will stay for long in the battle field.
