One of the most awaited movies of the year Gabbar Is Back released today on the box office as scheduled on May 1, 2015. Movie has the great star Akshay Kumar as the main cast in the movie. It is quite a daunting move for Akshay to release his film in a non-festive, non-holiday season, as this will be the true test of his star power keeping the audiences devoid of any other impetus to watch a film except the actors and the story.

On its opening day, film managed to lead the score board. But to topple the higher ranks set by Holiday & Baby on a normal working Friday won’t be plausible for the film. Movie released with positive approach from the audience and reported nice occupancy of around 65-70% on first day with first day collection of 13.05 crores. Reports reveal that opening day witnessed good results and the maximum prices even. Released on high number of screens in India seeing the first day attitude of audience towards the film there are two possibilities for this one. It can either work out in its favor that since the ticket prices are lower more people will flock in to watch the film. Else the people might not show as much response as expected.

Film made nice opening day business and thus collected good figures as expected already out of it. You could see good rush outside the cinema halls and multiplexes comprising both families and young generation. Theme of the film being suitable to kids & families plus youth got enough advantage of this fact. Now that the main weekend is coming so it is expected that it will rake much better than today and reveal more of its color in coming days.
