Opening Weekend Total Collection of ‘Ambarsariya’

Mandeep Kumar’s directorial latest action drama Punjabi movie Ambarsariya has completed its opening weekend journey at box office on an excellent note. The movie has received very positive reviews from critics and overwhelmed response from audience across the country and overseas as well. Bankrolled by Tips Films, this movie features one of the most popular singer cum actors in Punjab Diljit Dosanjh in lead role. The star has huge fan following among Punjabi audience worldwide and as always his latest offering is setting fire at box office.

The hype of Punjabi Cinema has now successfully crossed international borders and it can be easily seen in the overseas performance of its movies. Last we noticed Gippy Grewal’s directorial Ardaas and Amrinder Gill’s starrer Love Punjab. Both have witnessed tremendous response at global market and now the same is being repeated by Ambarsariya.  In India, it has reported almost houseful in all the theaters of Punjab for entire weekend.

On its very first day, Ambarsariya recorded the occupancy of more than 50% on Indian screens and minted the amount of 2.10 crores. On the next day i.e. Saturday, it reported almost similar response and raked the business of 2.05 crores. Then on Sunday, it slightly better than last two days and collected the amount of 2.05 crores. Till the end of its third day, total collection of Ambarsariya is recorded as 6.20 crores at domestic box office.
