Ambarsariya (Punjabi) 5th Day Collection, Remains Strong in Weekdays too!

Ambarsariya 5 Days Domestic Collection Report

One of the most popular stars of Punjab Diljit Dosanjh’s latest offering ‘Ambarsariya’ is flying high on box office with impressive performance in India as well as in overseas. The movie has been released with huge excitement of fans and Punjabi audience, as expected it has taken excellent start on box office and come out as the highest opener of year 2016 so far in Punjabi Cinema. Ambarsariya has received very positive reviews from all the critics, which generated huge positive buzz about it and made it to perform so impressive across the globe.

Last week, Love Punjab & Ardaas entertained audience much and reported excellent business worldwide and now Ambarsariya is heading in the same manner. This shows the growth of Punjabi Cinema across international borders. In the opening weekend, this Diljit starrer had minted the amount of 6.20 crores on Indian screens, that includes 2.10 crores of Friday, 2.05 crores of Saturday and 2.05 crores of Sunday. From overseas market, it reported the business of 5.43 crores; the second highest after Love Punjab.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays and as expected started facing lesser response than weekend but still remained strong. On Monday it witnessed the drop of more than 30% and minted the amount of 1.30 crore. On the next day i.e. Tuesday it received almost similar response and raked the business of 1.10 crore. Till the end of its 5th day, total domestic collection of Ambarsariya is recorded as 8.60 crores.
