Andhadhun, LoveYatri, and Venom 5th Day Collection, Ayushmann starrer stays Steady!

Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte starrer much-anticipated suspense thriller Andhadhun took an average start at the box office but picked up very well successfully over the weekend. Despite having another Hindi release LoveYatri & much-buzzed Hollywood movie Venom in its parallel, it is heading steadily on weekdays as well.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun has got succeed to impress many with its solid content and gained positive word of mouth. In the opening weekend, it did the business of 15 crores, that included 2.70 crores on Friday, 5.10 crores on Saturday, and 7.20 crores on Sunday.

Now it is running on weekdays and still has a strong hold over the audience across India. On Monday, Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ presentation remained higher than Friday and minted the amount of 3.40 crores. Then on Tuesday, with a little rise, Andhadhun collected 3.50 crores and raised 5 days total collection to 21.90 crores.

On the other hand, Salman Khan’s production LoveYatri has also received favorable feedback but got failed to compete with adjacent releases and did the business of only 6.90 crores (Fri 2cr, Sat 2.10cr, Sun 2.80cr) in the opening weekend. On Monday, with a drop of 50% than Friday, it raked 1 crore. While on Tuesday, it bagged 1.05 crore and raised 5 days total to 8.95 crores.

The American offering Venom has received good response from the Indian audience over the weekend and registered the business of 15.61 crores (Fri 4.09cr, Sat 5.32cr, Sun 6.20cr). On weekdays, it has witnessed a usual drop and minted 2.60 crores on Monday & 2.10 crores on Tuesday. After 5 days, the total collection of Tom Hardy starrer has become 20.31 crores nett (26.04 crores gross).
