Andhadhun, Venom, and LoveYatri 7th Day Collection, One Week Total Business Report

Despite an average start, Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu & Radhika Apte starrer Andhadhun successfully picked up over the weekend and remained strong on weekdays as well. Due to positive word of mouth, it has registered a solid opening week at the domestic box office.

Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Andhadhun was released with good buzz because of its convincing trailer. Not being released solo, it faced a dent on the first day but showed a healthy uptrend over the weekend and raked 15 crores with 2.70 crores on Friday, 5.10 crores on Saturday & 7.20 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays, Sriram Raghavan’s directorial remained higher than its opening day. On Monday, it did the business of 3.40 crores, while on Tuesday, it witnessed a little growth and minted 3.50 crores. With a slight decline, Andhadhun bagged 3.25 crores on Wednesday & 2.75 crores on Thursday and raised one week total to 27.90 crores.

In its parallel, the second Hindi offering Salman Khan’s production LoveYatri has remained overall an average over the weekend and garnered 6.90 crores (Fri 2cr, Sat 2.10cr, Sun 2.80cr). Then with a usual drop on weekdays, it minted 1 crore on Monday, 1.05 crore on Tuesday, 0.80 crore on Wednesday & 0.75 crore on Thursday to raise its one week total to 10.50 crores.

On the other hand, much-buzzed American movie Venom took a solid start and registered 15.61 crores (Fri 4.09cr, Sat 5.32cr, Sun 6.20cr) in the weekend. Then on weekdays, it faced a usual drop and collected 2.60 crores on Monday, 2.10 crores on Tuesday, 1.90 crores on Wednesday & 1.75 crores on Thursday. With this, its one week total collection from India has become 23.96 crores nett (30.72 crores gross).
