This Friday released the hugely buzzed Avengers Infinity War has passed the opening weekend on a massive note. Due to strong word of mouth, it remained super-charged throughout and has come quite close to the 100-crore mark within first 3 days of release at the Indian box office.
Being the most hyped movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers Infinity War has received an overwhelming response from the audience across India as well as the globe. With the thrilling storyline, jaw-dropping actions & power-packed performances by all the actors, it has impressed everyone.
On the opening day, Russo brothers’ directorial opened on a phenomenal note and registered the best opening of all time by a Hollywood movie at the Indian box office. It did the whopping business of 31.30 crores on Friday from 2000+ screens across the country including the original and all dubbed versions.
After dominating the opening record of Baaghi 2 (25.10 crores), Avengers Infinity War emerged the highest opener of the year so far. Then on Saturday, due to a partial holiday and very positive reviews, it remained equally strong and raked the business of 30.50 crores.
On the next day i.e. Sunday, Walt Disney’s presentation witnessed a growth of approx. 6.5% and collected the amount of 32.50 crores. With this, the total collection of Avengers Infinity War after the opening weekend has become 94.30 crores nett (120.90 crores gross) from India.
