After passing the opening weekend on a fantastic note, Avengers Infinity War has thoroughly enjoyed its Monday holiday as well. Due to strong word of mouth, this most hyped movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe has joined the 100-crore club within 4 days of release at the Indian box office.
Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo, Avengers Infinity War was released this Friday and as expected received an overwhelming response from the audience worldwide including India. It has impressed everyone with its thrilling story-line, jaw-dropping actions and power-packed performances.
Due to an exceptional initial buzz, the third instalment of the popular American franchise Avengers opened on a massive note and registered the best opening of all time by any Hollywood movie at the Indian box office. It did the business of 31.30 crores on Friday, which is also the highest opening of the year so far.
By remaining equally strong over the weekend, Avengers Infinity War raked the business of 30.50 crores on Saturday and 32.50 crores on Sunday. After the weekend, the total collection of the movie was recorded 94.30 crores from 2000+ screens across the country.
Now it has entered on normal working days but due to a holiday on Monday, Walt Disney’s presentation remained huge and collected the amount of 20.52 crores. With this, the total collection of Infinity War after 4 days has become 114.82 crores nett (147.21 crores gross). This is the fastest century of the year so far in India.
