Avengers Infinity War 8th Day Box Office Collection, Remains Solid Despite New Releases

After a fantastic opening week, Avengers Infinity War is showing a strong performance on its second weekend as well despite several new offerings. On second Friday, Walt Disney’s presentation remained solid and received far better response across the country than all the new movies of this week.

Produced by Marvel Studios, Avengers Infinity War is the third instalment of the very popular American franchise Avengers and as expected got released with enormous buzz across the globe including India. The movie has impressed everyone and received very positive reviews from the critics.

Being one of the most hyped movies of the year, Infinity War opened on a massive note and registered the best Hollywood of all time at the Indian box office. By remaining super-strong, it did the business of 94.30 crores nett on the opening weekend, that included 31.30 crores of Friday, 30.50 crores of Saturday and 32.50 crores of Sunday.

Then on weekdays as well, Avengers Infinity War remained superb due to strong word of mouth. On Monday and Tuesday, there were holidays, so the movie scored big numbers 20.52 crores and 20.34 crores respectively on board. With usual drops, it minted 11.75 crores on Wednesday and 9.73 crores on Thursday.

After a week, the total collection of the movie was recorded 156.64 crores nett from 2000+ Indian screens. Now it has entered on the second weekend and minted the amount of 7.17 crores with a drop of approx. 26% than the previous day. With this, 8 days total collection of Avengers Infinity War has become 163.81 crores nett (210.01 crores gross) at the Indian box office.
