Shraddha-Tiger’s Baaghi Settles Down
Sajid Nadiadwala’s latest successful venture Baaghi has already completed its 2 weeks journey at box office with excellent performance. Despite mixed reviews by critics, it has entered in 100 cr club globally and become the fourth highest grosser of 2016 so far. Now this Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff starrer is loosing its pace due to new Hindi release Azhar but still adding considerable amounts to its account.
In its very first week, Sabbir Khan’s directorial showed amazing performance and did the business of total 59.72 cr, that includes 38.58 cr of weekend and 21.14 cr of weekdays. In the second week, it faced competition due to Hollywood biggie Captain America Civil War and raked the business of 12.70 cr, that includes 7.91 cr of weekend and 4.79 cr of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total collection of Baaghi was recorded as 72.42 cr at domestic and 19.64 cr at overseas box office.
Now the movie is running its 3rd weekend and getting affected by new Hindi release Azhar. On Friday, it faced heavy drop and minted the amount of 0.54 cr as its 15th day collection. On the next day i.e. Saturday, it received little higher than Friday and done the business of 0.63 cr. After 16 days, total collection of Baaghi is recorded as 73.59 cr at domestic box office. With this, it has emerged as the fourth highest grosser of the year so far by surpassing the lifetime collection of Kapoor & Sons.
