Baaghi 1st Day Collection: Takes Good Start in India and Overseas as well

‘Baaghi’ beats 2 States, ABCD 2 & Heropanti in UAE

The latest offering from Bollywood this week, the action romantic movie Baaghi has started on a good note across India as well as overseas. Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff starrer this action entertainer has received positive reviews from most of critics and also getting favorable response from audience. Due to its power packed official trailer and wide scale promotions, Baaghi had much pre-release hype among audience and witnessed complete benefit of it. Everybody liked the movie and showed big thumbs up for it.

As per the report, Baaghi has released on 2750 screens in India and 344 screens in overseas. On Thursday it reported impressive start with 1.54 cr of opening business in UAE-GCC, which is higher than Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States, Shraddha Kapoor-Varun Dhawan starrer ABCD 2 and 3 times bigger than Tiger Shroff-Kriti Sanon starrer Heropanti. This terrific start has generated huge excitement among fans and their craze can be easily seen on social media.

In India too, the movie has started the day with good occupancy. As predicted, both single as well as multi screens cinemas have contributed well in its business. On Friday Baaghi has witnessed overall 40% of occupancy nationwide and raked the business of 11.87 cr which is higher than expectations. With this it has become the third highest opener of 2016 so far after Fan and Airlift. As Sabbir Khan’s directorial is getting favorable word of mouth, so it is positively expected to take decent growth in weekend. From its overseas screens, it collected the amount of 5.65 cr in its opening day.
