Baahubali (Hindi) to Re-Release on 7th April with 1000 Screens, Good Opening is Expected

Baahubali (Hindi) to Re-Release by AA Films & Dharma Productions

The biggest blockbuster 2015’s Baahubali- The Beginning is set to re-release this Friday on 7th of April in Hindi across the country. Reportedly the first installment of director SS Rajamouli’s epic franchise Baahubali is being re-released on 1000 screens under the distribution banners AA Films and Dharma Productions.

This is the smart move by distributors to re-release first part of the movie three weeks before the release of it’s second part Baahubali 2- The Conclusion, which is scheduled to hit theaters on 28th of April. This would definitely build huge hype for the new installment among audience of north India. Although Baahubali 2 is already one of the most awaited Indian movies of 2017.

With 1000 screens, Baahubali is emerged as the widest re-release ever in Indian cinema. Being the multiplex partner INOX Leisure Ltd. has announced the news on April 4 via twitter, “The epic RE-RELEASE of @BaahubaliMovie – 1. Watch this larger-than-life film on the big screen. @ssrajamouli @RanaDaggubati @meramyakrishnan,”.

Earlier Baahubali started it’s journey on box office with the opening business of 5.15 crores from 1500 Hindi screens. Now releasing with 1000 screens, it is positively expected to register the business of around 2.75 – 3.25 crores in the opening weekend. This amount is good enough, as two more Hindi offerings Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana and Mirza Juuliet are also being released.
