Box Office: Baar Baar Dekho & Freaky Ali 8th Day Collection, Witness Dull Response on 2nd Friday

8 Days Total Collection of Baar Baar Dekho & Freaky Ali

Last Friday released Hindi movies Baar Baar Dekho and Freaky Ali, both have witnessed an average response on box office in their first week and received mixed reviews from critics. Despite much hype & Eid holiday, both struggled to get audience and performed under expectations.

Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho was earlier expected to perform atleast decently after the release, because of popular faces. Due to initial buzz it took decent start but got failed to maintain the uptrend and faced abrupt fall just after the weekend.

In the opening week, Nitya Mehra’s directorial this romantic drama witnessed overall an average response and raked the business of 29.40 crores, that includes 21.16 crores of weekend and 8.24 crores of weekdays. Whereas Sohail Khan’s directorial sports romantic-comedy has also showed an average performance and registered the business of 14 crores total with 8.50 crores of weekend and 5.50 crores of weekdays.

Despite being backed by superstar Salman Khan, Freaky Ali received such low response on box office and lost almost all of its hold over audience in the first week only. Now the movie has entered in the second week and reported 50% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 0.45 crore* to its account.

On the other hand, Baar Baar Dekho has faced more than 50% of drop and somehow managed to secure the amount of 0.65 crore*. With this, total 8 days collections of both the movies have become 14.45 crores* and 30.05 crores* respectively on domestic box office.
