Baazaar, Kaashi, 5 Weddings, and Dassehra 3rd Day Collection, 1st Weekend Report

This Friday released, Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh & debutante Rohan Mehra starrer Baazaar has almost saved this weekend by scoring decent numbers at the box office. Despite a poor start & mixed reviews, the movie got succeed to divert enough audience toward theaters.

Directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, this business crime drama Baazaar started its journey on a poor note but picked up well later and did the business of 3.40 crores on Friday. Then with a fair jump over the weekend, it minted 4.10 crores on Saturday & 4.76 crores on Sunday and raised its weekend total to 11.93 crores.

On the other hand, Sharman Joshi’s Kaashi has also received mixed reviews from the critics but remained low throughout. On Friday, it minted the amount of 0.20 crore, while with some jump, the movie collected 0.25 crore on Saturday & 0.25 crore on Sunday. After 3-days, its total collection has become 0.70 crore.

Rajkummar Rao & Nargis Fakhri’s romantic drama 5 Weddings also was released on the same but got failed to attract enough audience. It registered the business of 0.10 crore on Friday, 0.20 crore on Saturday & 0.20 crore on Sunday. With this, its 3 days total collection has become 0.50 crore.

One more offering, Neil Nitin Mukesh’ action drama Dassehra got failed to prove its existence at the box office. It has done the business of only 0.15 crore in the weekend that included 0.04 crore on Friday, 0.05 crore on Saturday & 0.06 crore on Sunday.
