Last Friday released thriller film Badlapur is already inching towards 50 crores mark. This flick released last week has already raked good income in its account in the first week and now the film has entered yesterday in its second working week. But talking about the last week released movie, there was no competition in the race with only Qissa. Badlapur has come out as a decent release but has not made any outstanding performance within 8 days.

In first week film did well enough due to solo week but now with yesterday it has 2 more flicks along named Ab Tak Chhappan 2 & Dum Laga Ke Haisha which in turn both affected its 8th day income a lot. Both the new films have proved to be bit competing in their own way how so ever talking collection wise then Badlapur got better response over Dum Laga Ke Haisha & almost near to Ab Tak Chhappan 2 yesterday.

The film has collected most part of its collection in Delhi/NCR and East Punjab, while the film has been collecting normal performance in Mumbai, Nizam and central India. Today is the 8th day of release for this film and due to new releases it earned less amount than Thursday but still more than new releases; on Friday Badlapur closed at 1.4 crore.

Film has brought out Varun in image of a serious actor which will prove beneficial for him getting offers for other such roles soon in upcoming films. Film might end up its business this second week or may run longer but seeing the present performance then it might face difficulty in the coming weekdays to score decent income on its board.
