‘Bajirao Mastani’ Performs very Impressively across the India

Bollywood’s ace film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s recently released epic love story film Bajirao Mastani is performing very impressively at domestic box office. The film was released on 18th December with good excitement of audience and received very strong response from audience. Bollywood critics have also reviews it with super positive comments and showed thumbs up for it.

The flawless direction by Bhansali Ji and the remarkable performances of lead stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are the reasons behind such overwhelmed response from audience. Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s Dilwale was also released on the same day which caused huge loss to Bajirao Mastani in the opening weekend but from weekdays it retained its pace and dominated adjacent biggie in India.

In the first week, Bajirao Mastani was witnessed decent occupancy and raked the business of 86.15 crores that includes 46.77 crores of weekend and 39.38 crores of weekdays. In the second weekend, very strongly this magnum opus was taken the lead over Dilwale and minted the total amount of 55.70 crores that includes 34.30 crores of weekend and 21.40 crores of weekdays. Till the end of its 14th day, total 2 weeks collection of Bajirao Mastani was recorded as 141.85 crores on Indian screens.

Now the film has entered in the third week and expected to show decent performance in this weekend too, as it did in its second weekend. On its third Friday, Bajirao Mastani has witnessed higher response as Thursday due to no new release this week. It has grossed the amount of 7.50 crores as its 15th day collection and made its domestic total as 149.35 crores.
