The magnum opus Bajirao Mastani that has released this Friday at box office on 3050 Indian screens, is getting super positive response from audience. Bollywood critics have reviewed it very positive comments and showed thumbs up to it. The movie is receiving very strong word of mouth from audience and flying high on buzz. Everyone appreciating the entire team of Bajirao Mastani for giving such a masterpiece. It could get more better if the adjacent release Shahrukh Khan’s Dilwale was not there. The opposite one has taken almost 60% of screens and major portion of audience towards itself. Because of the stardom of SRK, Dilwale is the first choice of audience to watch but after watching Bajirao Mastani, they are reviewing it with awesome and ofcourse than the highly star powered Dilwale.

On its very first day, Bajirao Mastani was recorded the overall occupancy of 40% on Indian screens and minted the amount of 12.80 crores. The movie has registered the 10th highest opening of year and grossing very good business figures at domestic as well as overseas box office. Because of strong word of mouth, on Saturday the movie showed decent growth in its occupancy and raked the business of 15.52 crores as its second day collection. Till the end of Saturday, total collection of Bajirao Mastani was recorded as 28.32 crores.

On its third day i.e. Sunday, being public holiday the movie has witnessed more growth in its business and collected the amount of 18.45 crores on Indian screens. Till the end of its third day, total opening weekend collection of this Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic movie is calculated as 46.77 crores. It is expected to move smoothly in weekdays too.
