Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the biggest blockbuster Bollywood movie of the year crosses the mark of 300 crores within 3 weeks of release. That is really awesome, everyone was expecting the same but it happened earlier than expected. Fans of Salman Khan are very excited after knowing this, the slogan “Ab ki baar 300 ke paar” has become true now. The day is not less than a festival for the fans & the entire team of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. With this, it has become the third Indian movie to cross 300 crores mark after PK and Baahubali.
In first two weeks, the performance of Bajrangi Bhaijaan was just phenomenal. The movie was enjoyed two uninterrupted weeks very efficiently and done the business of total 272.25 crores. In which, 184.62 crores it was collected in its first week and rest 87.63 crores in the second week. From its very first day of release, it is getting extreme support of fans and Bollywood lovers. It was already a sure shot blockbuster before its release, as it is starring the all favorite Salman Khan. After the 2 weeks at box office, it is still getting overwhelmed response from audience worldwide. Due to release of new movie Drishyam the pace of the movie has been slowed down but still the movie is collecting decent figures.
In its third weekend, it has done the total business of 19.98 crores that includes 4.11 crores of Friday, 6.80 crores of Saturday and 9.07 crores of Sunday. From weekdays movie started facing drops again and minted 2.75 crores on its third Monday. On the next day with almost similar response as Monday, it made 2.63 crores as its 19th day collection. Till the end of its 19th day, the total collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan at domestic box office was 297.61 crores and approx. 155 crores at overseas box office.
Yesterday was its 20th day of release and it has experienced a little drop in its business with almost similar craze of audience. On Wednesday, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was done the business of 2.45 crores and made its total to 300.06 crores from Indian screens only. Now Salman Khan has become the second Bollywood actor to enter in 300 crores club after Aamir Khan.
