‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ 28th Day Collection: Minted Approx. 314 Cr in 4 Weeks at Box Office

The Salman Khan & Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer drama movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan that was released on 17th of July has completed its journey of four weeks at box office with approx. 314 crores. It has received overwhelmed response from audience across the globe and everyone appreciated the entire starcast for their superb performance in the movie. From the very first day of release, it has performed terrifically at domestic as well as worldwide box office. In its fourth week, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was lagging behind Drishyam but till its third week it was the leader and its performance was phenomenal.

In its journey of almost one month, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has registered numbers of records to its account and become the second highest grosser movie of all time in Bollywood. It was successfully dominated the worldwide collection record of India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali and running over the mark of 550 crores. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has become the most successful of Salman’s career and also the second most successful movie of Bollywood after Aamir Khan’s PK. With this movie, Salman has dominated the records of all previous blockbusters. The lifetime collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is still very less than PK but its first week domestic total was higher.

Almost all the critics have reviewed it as the best movie of Salman in terms of his performance and the good thing is, it has become his best movie in terms of business also. Still one more movie of Salman Khan titled as Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is left to be released this year in Diwali, so it is final that he will be the highest grosser actor of year 2015.

In its first 3 weeks, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was garnered 302.31 crores that includes 184.62 crores of its first week, 87.63 crores of second week and 30.06 crores of the third week. It was started the fourth week with 7.69 crores as its 4th weekend total collection that includes 1.45 crore of Friday, 2.73 crores of Saturday and 3.51 crores of Sunday. From the next it was again started facing drops in its business due to weekdays.

On Monday it was minted 1.15 crore as its 25th day collection. Then it made around 1.02 crore as its 26th day collection and 0.96 crore as its 27th day collection. On the last day of its fourth week, the movie has recorded lowest occupancy and made the amount of only 0.91 crore. Till the end of the week, the total collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is calculated as 314.04 crores.
