Released with positive reviews, this latest movie Lion is a total masala Telugu film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role. Movie has been much talked about due to its interesting star cast and story. It is a family entertainer filled with ultimate dose of comedy, punches, drama, romance etc released in regions of Andhra Pradesh. Ever since its release this Friday, movie has set the cash registers of box office in south India ringing right from the opening day.  Third day box office business done by this interesting movie is around 5 crores.

Fortunately, the film managed to do the expected kind of business over the weekend as the collection have seen a dip on Saturday compared to opening day. But Sunday came up with good hope and luck for this movie as the occupancy of the audience increased on a notion on Sunday being a full holiday. Movie has given a good performance till now and the third day seems to be best among the first weekend.

On Sunday much of the audience drifted towards it, contributing a good figure in the total collections today. Facing no competition from any previous release, movie has managed to bring back its position by claiming nice collection and occupancy on box office throughout first weekend. We have seen the star cast has been entertaining the audience in their earlier movies also so familiar faces of the entire star cast proved as big advantage for the film makers in drifting more audience to theaters.

It is coming out as a successful Tollywood movie of this month and has started off well by ending up a good weekend. First weekend report of shows a positive approach of audience towards the film and this could increase in the upcoming days. Now that weekdays will start; hence the pace will be slowed down until new weekend arrives.
