‘Bangistan’ 1st Day Collection: Started on a low note; getting dull response

Today released satirical comedy Hindi movie Bangistan is getting very dull response at box office. It was already banned in UAE for having offensive contents and also not getting audience in rest. Bangistan the story of two blundering terrorists on a mission to change the world was promoted on a high scale as it is presented by two big banners of Bollywood- Excel Entertainment & Junglee Pictures. But even after good promotions, it is not getting much response at box office. After the premieres that was held last night, as always Bollywood’s celebs were reviewing it as good but after release the response came out from audience is terrible.

Bangistan is featuring Riteish Deshmukh & Pulkit Samrat in lead roles along with Jacqueline Fernandez in cameo. Their fans are showing in interest towards the movie, but rest all are giving negative reviews to it. Bollywood critics are also not looking in favor of the movie and rated it with maximum 2 stars only. The performance of Riteish Deshmukh & Pulkit Samrat is appreciating but the factor that audience wants is missing from it.

On its opening day, Bangistan started with very low response. The overall occupancy it recorded today is not more than 30%. The new Hollywood release, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has got 3 times more occupancy than this Bollywood release. The first day collection of Bangistan is recorded around 1 crore from Indian screens and there is no hope with it to take any growth in coming days.
