Sunny Deol starrer the Hindi action-comedy Bhaiaji Superhit is struggling to attract major audience toward itself despite being based on a universal genre. After a dull start, the movie witnessed a limited growth in footfalls on Saturday and remained overall low at the box office.
Directed by Neerraj Pathak, Bhaiaji Superhit has received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience, although Sunny Deol & other actors have shown commendable performances. Got released just after a week from his Mohalla Assi, it was parked for a long time and this is why it’s story-line doesn’t look fresh.
Metro Movies & Zee Studios’ production was released on Friday amid low buzz because of limited promotions and registered a dull opening. At a very low note, it did the business of 1.10 crores on the first day, which was lower than Deols’ Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se (1.82 crores).
On the next day i.e. Saturday, Bhaiaji Superhit showed a limited jump and managed to collect the amount of 1.15 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of Sunny Deol & Preity Zinta starrer has become 2.25 crores at the domestic box office.
The audience is now looking forward to the hugely-awaited 2.0, which is all set to release coming Thursday on 29 Nov 2018 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages across 7000 screens nationwide. This is also the reason, Bhaiaji Superhit is not getting much response from them.
