Bharat 9th Day Box Office Collection, Mints 180 Crores in an Extended Opening Week

After a fantastic 5-days extended opening weekend, the year’s one of the most-awaited Hindi films Bharat has remained almost strong on weekdays and completed a week at a solid note. Superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is running terrifically at the box office since its release and has already become the second highest grossing film of the year so far.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the Hindi period drama has got succeed to gather mostly positive reviews from the critics and gained a good word of mouth. As a result, it has shattered many records at the box office. Although from the audience in metro cities, it has received mixed reactions.

On last Wednesday, Bharat was opened at a superb note and had registered the third highest opening of all time in Hindi Cinema. Over the weekend, it remained super strong throughout and did the business of 150.10 crores with 42.30 crores on Wednesday, 31 crores on Thursday, 22.20 crores on Friday, 26.70 crores on Saturday & 27.90 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays, Reel Life Productions, T-Series and Salman Khan Films’ production had recorded a heavy drop in footfalls but still stood strong. On Monday, after a drop of 58.56% vis-a-vis Friday, it had collected the amount of 9.20 crores. While on Tuesday, it minted 8.30 crores.

On 2nd Wednesday as it was released on Wednesday, Bharat had witnessed a further drop and bagged the amount of 6.75 crores. On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday, it managed to garner 5.70 crores and raised 9 days total collection to 180.05 crores nett at the domestic box office from 4700 screens.
