Blackmail 4th Day Collection, Irrfan Khan starrer Passes Monday on a Decent Note

Once again the director of Delhi Belly, Abhinay Deo has got succeed to hit the target right with his new dark comedy Blackmail. Starring the supremely talented Irrfan Khan and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles, the movie has impressed everyone with its engaging story-line and brilliant performances by the actors.

Produced by T-Series Films and RDP Motion Pictures jointly, Blackmail has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience across the country. As a result, it gained good word of mouth and picked up well over the weekend despite a decent opening.

On the first day, Irrfan Khan starrer opened on a slow note due to having the last week released biggie Baaghi 2 on the opposite side. Post noon shows it picked up well in multiplexes and did the business of 2.81 crores from 1550 screens. Last year, Irrfan’s Hindi Medium had also registered exactly the same numbers but from 1126 screens.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, Blackmail reported a fair jump in footfalls and collected the business of 3.85 crores despite the commencement of IPL 2018. Then on Sunday with a further growth, it minted the amount of 4.56 crores and raised its opening weekend total collection to 11.22 crores.

Now the movie has entered on weekdays and as usual, witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls due to normal working days. On Monday, it faced a drop of approx. 40% than Friday and bagged the amount of 1.68 crores. With this, its 4 days total collection has become 12.90 crores at the domestic box office.
