Being one of the most talented and versatile actors of the young generation actors, Ranbir Kapoor’s recently released Bombay Velvet is doing ordinary business on box office. Released this Friday, movie even after high expectations could not stand high on the ladder of business throughout first weekend. Movie faced a manipulative fall in its business and the income made today was only 2.10 crores quite dull as compared to the predictions that were expected to gather more attention and rush of people towards the cinema halls and multiplexes earlier. Ranbir performance in this film again failed to entertain the audience like Roy.

In spite of popular and magical chemistry of the newly casted stars, still this movie could not manage to manifest the audience by the charm of Ranbir Kapoor. This romantic cum drama movie overall could make a normal business on its 4 days by not diverting much audience owing to availability of other options too in cinemas.

Bombay Velvet Monday Performance

Fourth day box office performance of Bombay Velvet seems to be as low as the weekend did (Fri- 5.20 Cr, Sat- 5.10 Cr & Sun-5.80 Cr only). Moreover, first 4 days showed not so good collections as were the huge hypes of comeback of Ranbir Kapoor. On its first day, Bombay Velvet only 5.20 crores which was relatively lower than opening business and even of Ranbir himself. Second day was followed by an ordinary business on box office with an average collection of about 5.10 crores.

Movie made the total collection of around 5.80 crores only on third day and earned even lesser today. Further more, seeing the fall in the business every day, the total collections covered by movie are much lower and similar to Ek Paheli Leela. Because the expectations from this film were set far higher with comeback of Ranbir this much collection seems less than the expected one.
