Box Office: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM) 13th Day Collection, Heading Break-Free Worldwide

13 Days Total Collection of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Karan Johar’s directorial latest much hyped venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has proudly emerged as the 6th movie of the year and 48th of all time in Bollywood to rake over 100 crores on domestic box office. It has become the first movie of Karan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, fourth of Anushka Sharma and 3rd of Ranbir Kapoor to enter in this club. Being highly promoted, it has been released with huge excitement worldwide, which made it to achieve such great height.

Audience liked the movie and showed overwhelmed response towards it across the country as well as overseas. Due to its youthful story and music, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has received positive reviews from critics also, which generated strong word of mouth about it on box office. The lead actor Ranbir has impressed everyone with his marvelous performance, his chemistry with Anushka is outstanding in the movie.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had reported good occupancy through out the opening week and did the excellent business of 80.19 crores, including 35.60 crores of weekend and 44.59 crores of weekdays. It successfully cashed the festive season and earned impressive despite Ajay Devgn’s much awaited Shivaay in opposite.

In its second weekend, this romantic drama remained steady and registered the business of 16.96 crores from Indian screens, including 4.56 crores of Friday, 5.85 crores of Saturday and 6.55 crores of Sunday. Now once again it is in weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters than before.

On its 2nd Monday, the movie faced almost 45% of drop than last Friday and minted the amount of 2.55 crores. Then on Tuesday, with slight more drop it added the amount of 2.35 crores and entered in 100 crore club. Then on the next day i.e. Wednesday, due to ‘Rs. 500 & 1000 Notes Ban’ Ae Dil Hai Mushkil raked 1.51 crore with considerable loss, which made its 13 days domestic total as 103.56 crores.
