Box Office: Baahubali 2 (Hindi) 10th Day Collection, Earns Over 300 Cr Nett Total Domestically

Baahubali 2 (Hindi) Enters in 300 Cr Club in 10 Days of Release

What kind of hype is this! the dubbed Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has crossed the mark of 300 crores at domestic box office with noon shows of it’s tenth day. With incredible performance in the opening week and equally strong in the second weekend, the movie has entered in 300 crore club domestically with it’s Hindi version alone.

With this, it has emerged as the fastest 300 crore grosser and fifth Hindi movie to enter in this club after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dangal. At worldwide box office, Baahubali 2 has grossed over 1000 crores including all the versions- Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. Interestingly, it still has amazing hold over the audience and running with full on power across the country as well as overseas.

In the opening week, director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 reported fantastic occupancy for it’s Hindi version and did the business of 247 crores nett, that included 128 crores of weekend and 119 crores of weekdays from around 4000 screens nationwide. While from rest three versions, it registered the business of 287 crores nett that included 175 crores of weekend and 112 crores of weekdays from 2500 screens.

In it’s second weekend, Baahubali 2 again enjoyed the increased footfalls and remained super strong throughout. On Friday, it recorded almost 13% of drop than Thursday but managed to remain almost steady and collected 19.75 crores from it’s Hindi screens. On Saturday, the movie showed fair growth and minted the amount of 26.50 crores. With further increment, it garnered the business of around 34.50 crores on it’s 2nd Sunday.

With this, total 10 days domestic collection of Baahubali 2 (Hindi) has become 327.75 crores nett. The movie positively seems to surpass the lifetime domestic total of Aamir Khan’s PK (340.80 crores) by the end of this week with it’s Hindi version alone. If the winning strike continues, it might go past Dangal (387.38 crores) too by this week.
