Nitya Mehra’s directorial romantic-drama movie Baar Baar Dekho has been released with good buzz among audience. Because of fresh chemistry between Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra, it was buzzing from a long time before the release. Also its official trailer and music had created much hype, which led it to take decent start on box office.

From critics as well as moviegoers, Baar Baar Dekho has received mixed reviews but audience reacting in favor of it. They liked the sizzling chemistry of Katrina-Sidharth, which makes the movie worth watch. With these positive reactions, it has taken good initial lead over Sohail Khan’s directorial Freaky Ali.

On the opening day, Baar Baar Dekho reported good occupancy for morning shows and also witnessed growth from evening. At the end, its overall occupancy was recorded as 30-35% across the country. With this, the movie did the business of 6.81 crores, which is the 14th highest opening of the year so far.

On the second day being weekend and due to favorable audience response, it received higher response than Friday. As per the report, Baar Baar Dekho has added the amount of 7.65 crores to its account on Saturday. Major contribution is being made by north regions of the country.

With this, total 2 days collection of the movie has become 14.46 crores on domestic box office. On Sunday, Baar Baar Dekho has to take higher jump for a satisfactory opening weekend total.
