Dharma Productions & Excel Entertainment’s recent collaboration Baar Baar Dekho has performed under expectations so far. Earlier it was expected to get overwhelmed response from audience but unfortunately the movie get failed in satisfying critics as well as audience. Some of them praised the concept, also liked the quirky chemistry of Katrina & Sidharth, but still it has not come out well.

Because of good star power and promotions, Baar Baar Dekho was strongly expected to perform atleast decently on box office. But due to mixed response of audience as well as critics, it faced abrupt drop in its occupancy after the weekend and reported below average business afterward.

In the opening weekend, Nitya Mehra’s directorial this romantic-drama recorded decent occupancy and did the business of 21.16 crores with 6.81 crores of Friday, 7.65 crores of Saturday and 6.70 crores of Sunday. In weekdays, the movie faced sudden fall in its occupancy and lost most of its hold over audience.

On Monday with almost 65% of drop than Friday, Baar Baar Dekho minted the amount of 2.37 crores. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, despite Eid holiday it showed little jump in its business and collected the amount of 2.75 crores. Then on Wednesday, it again recorded drop and managed to rake 1.70 crore.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie reported more drop in its occupancy from morning shows and added the amount of 1.42 crore to its account. With this, its opening week collection has become 29.40 crores on domestic box office.

From this Friday, Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink & Emraan Hashmi’s Raaz Reboot are being release, so it won’t be easy for Baar Baar Dekho to get considerable response.
