Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania 13th Day Collection, All Set to Cross 100 Cr Mark Domestically

Second installment of the franchise began in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is about to complete it’s 2 weeks journey on box office and has performed quite impressive so far. With favorable response of audience and positive reviews of critics, the movie has emerged as the first super hit of the year and all set to enter in 100 crore club with one more day.

Everyone found Badrinath Ki Dulhania very entertaining and showed thumbs up to it. As a result it gained good word of mouth and remained steady throughout it’s journey so far at domestic as well as overseas box office. Also it has surpassed the lifetime total of the previous installment Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (76.81 crores).

On an excellent note, director Shashank Khaitan’s this romantic comedy started it’s journey and registered the business of total 73.66 crores in the opening week, which was including 43.05 crores of weekend and 30.61 crores of weekdays. Now the movie is running in the second week and despite several new offerings, heading dominantly.

Karan Johar & Fox Star Studios’ presentation enjoyed the second weekend on a good note and minted the amount of 17.56 crores with 4.21 crores of Friday, 5.90 crores of Saturday and 7.45 crores of Sunday. Now once again, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is in weekdays and witnessed lesser footfalls in theaters than before.

On 2nd Monday, Varun-Alia starrer faced only 25% of drop than last Friday and raked the amount of 2.72 crores. With further decline it managed to collect the amount of 2.45 crores to it’s account on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, the movie has done the business of 2.30 crores with more drop and made it’s 13 days domestic total as 98.69 crores.
