19 Days Total Collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Star filmmaker Karan Johar’s recent production venture Badrinath Ki Dulhania has emerged as year’s first super hit film and third highest grossing film so far after Shahrukh Khan’s Raees and Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2. After an excellent journey so far, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer this romantic comedy still has enough hold over the audience and heading decently.

Because of it’s content and mind blowing performances of lead stars, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has received much appreciation from audience as well as critics. With strong word of mouth, director Shashank Khaitan’s this offering has also become the highest grossing movie of Alia Bhatt and second highest of Varun Dhawan‘s career so far.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania started it’s journey on an impressive note and reported an excellent business of 73.66 crores in the opening week, which was including 43.05 crores of weekend and 30.61 crores of weekdays from more than 3000 screens. In the second week too, the movie remained strong despite several new offerings and did the business of 27.08 crores with 17.56 crores of weekend and 9.52 crores of weekdays.

Now it is running in the third week and cashed the weekend on a good note despite new Hindi release Phillauri. In it’s third weekend, Badrinath Ki Dulhania garnered the decent business of 6.95 crores including 1.35 crore of Friday, 2.35 crores of Saturday and 3.25 crores of Sunday. After 17 days of release, total domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 107.69 crores.

Once again, it is in weekdays and getting lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier. On 3rd Monday, Varun-Alia starrer faced 17% of drop and minted the amount of 1.12 crore. On Tuesday, it witnessed some growth and collected the amount of 1.20 crore. With this it’s 19 days total collection has become 110.01 crores at domestic box office.
