With lot of excitement and expectations of fans, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s latest offering Badrinath Ki Dulhania has been released this Friday on more than 3000 screens across the country. As expected this romantic comedy has received overwhelmed response from audience and started it’s journey at domestic box office on a solid note.

Because of it’s fresh story line and strong message on feminism, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial Badrinath Ki Dulhania has impressed all the viewers and also received positive reviews from all the critics. As per critics, it is a delightful family entertainer which has all the ingredients to be a winner on box office.

As always Varun & Alia have performed wonderfully and showed a beautiful chemistry between each other. Because of their heart winning performances, both are being praised by everyone. Director Shashank Khaitan is also getting appreciation for his flawless direction.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania is the second installment of the franchise that was began in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Being year’s one of the much awaited movies, it has been released with huge buzz and reported good occupancy on the opening day across India. The movie started the day with 35% of occupancy and witnessed good growth from evening shows.

On Friday, Karan Johar’s this new venture has recorded good footfalls in single as well as multi-screens cinemas and minted the amount of 12.25 crores. With which it has emerged as the second biggest opener of the year so far after Shahrukh Khan‘s Raees (20.42 crores) and Akshay Kumar‘s Jolly LLB 2 (13.20 crores). Also become the third highest opener of Varun & Alia’s career so far.

Varun-Alia’s previous collaborations Student of the Year & Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania did the opening business of 7.48 crores & 9.02 crores respectively. That means, the latest one has come out with highest opening and positively expected to take good jump over this Holi weekend.
