Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania 4th Day Collection, Passes Monday Test on a Strong Note

4 Days Total Collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania Domestically

After an impressive opening weekend, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s latest offering Badrinath Ki Dulhania has thoroughly cashed the holiday on Monday due to Holi festival. Being highly awaited movie of the year, this romantic comedy has been released on Friday with immense excitement of their fans and as expected received very favorable response from audience.

Along with audience, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial Badrinath Ki Dulhania has impressed critics also and received positive reviews from them. Because of good content and marvelous performances by the lead stars, most of the critics have showed thumbs up to it. Due to such positive reactions, the movie has gained strong word of mouth and witnessing good footfalls in theaters.

With high initial buzz, second installment of Karan Johar’s franchise that was began in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania had started it’s journey on a solid note and registered the third highest opening of Varun & Alia’ career so far with 12.25 crores. With this, it has also emerged as the third highest opener of the year so far after Raees (20.42 crores) and Jolly LLB 2 (13.20 crores).

On Saturday, Badrinath Ki Dulhania witnessed good growth due to weekend and minted the amount of 14.75 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie showed more growth and garnered the business of 16.05 crores from around 3000 screens in India.

After the weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 43.05 crores on domestic box office, which is the fourth highest opening weekend business of 2017 so far after Raees (96.34 crores- 4 days), Kaabil (67.46 crores- 4 days) & Jolly LLB 2 (50.46 crores). Not only from India but in overseas too, it is performing quite excellent and grossed the amount of 18.71 crores in first 3 days.

Now Badrinath Ki Dulhania has entered in weekdays but due to holiday on Monday (Holi), it remained strong across the country and added the amount of 12.08 crores with around 25% of drop than Sunday. After this, total 4 days domestic collection of the movie has become 55.13 crores.
