6 Days Total Collection of Riteish Deshmukh’s Banjo
Ravi Jadhav’s directorial Banjo is struggling to get audience in theaters. From the very first day it is witnessing low response despite good promotions. The condition of the movie at box office is so bad that even after 6 days of release, it has not reached to double-digits domestic total.
Considering the strong fan base of lead star Riteish Deshmukh in Maharashtra, earlier Banjo was expected to perform atleast decently on box office. But in actual, it is far away from the level of average and emerged as one of the disaster movies of this year. Mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers, have made the conditions more unfavorable.
In the opening weekend, Banjo recorded 15-25% of occupancy and did the business of only 5.92 crores, that includes 1.72 crore of Friday, 1.95 crore of Saturday and 2.25 crores of Sunday. Whereas the last week’s offering Pink reported the business of 15.21 crores in its second weekend.
Now Banjo is running in weekdays and asusual getting more lesser audience than weekend. On Monday, it recorded almost 45% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 0.95 crore. Then on Tuesday, with more drop it raked the business of 0.75 crore.
On the next day i.e. Wednesday, the movie witnessed usual decline and added the amount of 0.60 crore* to its account. With this 6 days total collection of Banjo has become 8.22 crores* on domestic box office. It is expected to rake near about 8.70 crores* till then end of this week.
