Box Office: Befikre 12th Day Collection, Crosses 57 Cr Total till 2nd Tuesday

Recent offering of Bollywood’s biggest production house Yash Raj Films, Befikre had started its journey on box office with a strong opening but slowed down so early due to mixed reviews of critics as well as viewers. Because of wide scale promotions, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor witnessed good buzz among audience and so that recorded fair occupancy in its early days across the country as well as overseas.

As always the actor performed wonderfully and entertained everyone with his acting but the major spoiler of Befikre is its story which resembles with several Hindi movies released in recent past. Also the bold content, made it a choice of selected audience i.e. youth. The movie got immense support of fans, this is the reason it is still heading humbly on box office.

In the opening week, Befikre recorded overall decent occupancy and did the business of 48.75 crores. It registered 34.43 crores in the opening weekend with year’s 10th highest opening of 10.36 crores so far and 14.32 crores in weekdays. Now it is running in the second week and reported an average business of 6.79 crores in its weekend with 1.68 crore of Friday, 2.27 crores of Saturday and 2.84 crores of Sunday.

After the second weekend, total collection of Aditya Chopra’s directorial was recorded as 55.54 crores. Now once again the movie is in weekdays and asusual getting lesser audience in theaters. On the 2nd Monday, Befikre faced almost 37% of drop than last Friday and added the amount of 1.06 crore to its account. Then with further drop on Tuesday, the movie minted 0.98 crore and made its 12 days domestic total as 57.58 crores.
