Box Office: Befikre 14th Day Collection, Crosses 59 Cr Total in 2 Weeks Domestically

14 Days Total Collection of YRF’s Befikre

Couple of weeks back released romantic drama Befikre has completed its 2 weeks journey on a decent note at domestic box office. After a strong start in its early days, the movie was expected to remain steady for long but unfortunately it was started facing abrupt drops in its business from weekdays. Also it has received mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Although this Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer is heading humbly but it could get higher if kept the pace maintained so far.

As per critics, Befikre has a story which we have already watched several of times in this year. No doubt the actors have given good performances but still critics have not found it worthy. Backed by big banner Yash Raj Films, the movie was released with wide scale promotions and witnessed strong occupancy in the opening weekend. But the mixed reactions had pulled it back so early.

In the opening week, Aditya Chopra’s directorial received overall good occupancy across the country and did the business of 48.75 crores including 34.43 crores of weekend and 14.32 crores of weekdays. In the second weekend, the movie showed little growth and managed to rake the business of 6.79 crores with 1.68 crore of Friday, 2.27 crores of Saturday and 2.84 crores of Sunday.

After 10 days, total collection of Befikre was recorded as 55.54 crores. Then in weekdays, asusual being normal working days the movie got lesser audience in theaters. On its 2nd Monday, it faced almost 37% of drop than last Friday and added the amount of 1.06 crore to its account.

With further decrements, it collected the amount of 0.98 crore on Tuesday and 0.90 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, Ranveer-Vaani starrer reported more drop and minted the amount of 0.82 crore to make its 2 weeks domestic total as 59.30 crores.
