Box Office Collection: ‘Phantom’ First Day & Total Collection Prediction

Kabir Khan directorial second movie in this year, Phantom has been released out today at box office with good hype among audience. The movie is getting positive response from viewers as well as critics after premieres. Fans are looking very much excited as the movie is starring Katrina Kaif who is back after a good time along with Saif Ali Khan playing opposite to her.

Phantom is action thriller movie based on the attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai. It is adapted from the book Mumbai Avengers written by Hussain Zaidi. The movie has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala & Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is being presented by UTV Motion Pictures worldwide.

Its official trailer and music that has been composed by well known Pritam Chakraborty, was created good buzz about the movie after release. As per critics, Phantom is integrated with many thrilling sequences and a good music which holds audience till the end. Katrina and Saif have performed very well in their characters of secret agents. All these words are creating favorable environment for the movie and it is expected to perform good at box office.

After considering the craze of audience and advance booking stats, Phantom is expected to get overall occupancy of 60% on its opening day in India and its business would be around 9.50 – 10.50 crores*. It is the second movie of Katrina Kaif with director Kabir Khan after Ek Tha Tiger which was a blockbuster movie. Phantom is not looking capable to perform like Ek Tha Tiger but will get better than 2015’s previous thriller movies. As per the reports, its lifetime domestic total is expected to be in between 75 – 80 crores*.
