Box Office: Commando 2 2nd Day Collection, Remains Decent on Saturday

2 Days Total Collection of Commando 2 with Hindi, Telugu & Tamil Versions

Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta, Adah Sharma and Freddy Daruwala starrer recent Hindi offering Commando 2 has been released this Friday with decent buzz among audience and received favorable response from them. As expected, the movie has registered decent opening on box office across the country with its Hindi, Tamil & Telugu versions.

With the jaw-dropping action sequences performed by none other than Bollywood’s new action hero Vidyut Jammwal, the second installment from the franchise Commando has impressed all its viewers as well as critics. But due to its stale story, it has received mixed reviews from critics. Despite this, the movie has reported better opening than Aditya Roy Kapur & Shraddha Kapoor’s OK Jaanu (4.08 crores).

On its first day, Commando 2 reported overall 15% of occupancy in multiplexes and 35% in single screen cinemas. From around 2200 screens across the country, the movie has minted the amount of 5.14 crores including all the versions on Friday. While the previous installment from the franchise did the opening business of 3.69 crores.

On the next day i.e. Saturday, despite weekend and favorable response of audience, Commando 2 witnessed slight drop in footfalls and garnered the amount of 4.42 crores, which has made its 2 days total collection as 9.56 crores on domestic box office. Deven Bhojani’s directorial this action thriller can take little jump on Sunday. It could rake little more, but Hollywood’s much hyped Logan has also been released in India this Friday and running well.
