Box Office: Commando 2 First Day Collection Prediction, Expected to Open Decently

Expected Opening of Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2

New action hero of Bollywood, Vidyut Jammwal is back with his much awaited action thriller Commando 2, which is all set to hit theaters from Friday across the country as well as international market. It is the sequel to 2013’s Commando, which had received much appreciation from viewers as well as critics for its jaw-dropping action sequences and emerged as a decent success.

Based on the mission to bring India’s most wanted black money agent back to the country from Malaysia, the Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta, Adah Sharma & Freddy Daruwala starrer is expected to punch with more power than its prequel. With its trailer, the movie has impressed most of the viewers but from the music side it has not received any positive response.

Reportedly, Commando 2 has recorded an average advance booking till Thursday across the country but expected to witness decent response from single screens on the opening day. Comparing with the previous one then despite limited budget, Commando came out with decent results and registered the opening of 3.69 crores.

While this time makers have left no stone unturned and promoted the movie on a good scale. Also Commando 2 is releasing in three languages- Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. So it won’t be difficult for the movie to break the opening record of its prequel on domestic box office. That means, it can open decently with the business in between 4 – 5 crores.

The career of Vidyut so far is not impressive but he has made a good image of an action hero among audience. Because of his chiseled physique and martial art skills, the actor has high fan following globally. He made his debut in Hindi cinema with Force opposite to John Abraham. Despite being an antagonist, audience liked him very much in that. But in Commando franchise, he is playing as a protagonist, so more love & support is obvious.
