Box Office: Dangal 19th Day Collection, Aamir Khan’s Film Enters in 350 Cr Club Domestically

Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Dangal has finally crossed the mark of 350 crores in 19 days of release. Being superstar Aamir Khan’s highly awaited movie, it was released with immense excitement of fans and as expected received overwhelmed response from audience. With its inspiring content, the movie has impressed all the viewers and got very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Because of such strong word of mouth, this sports biopic is enjoying its dream run on box office.

In the opening week, Dangal reported outstanding performance on box office and did the phenomenal business of 197.54 crores with 107.01 crores of weekend and 90.53 crores of weekdays. In its second week too, the movie remained excellent and raked the business of 115.96 crores including 73.70 crores of weekend and 42.26 crores of weekdays.

Now it is running in its third week and scored 31.79 crores in the third weekend including 6.66 crores of Friday, 10.80 crores of Saturday and 14.33 crores of Sunday. After 17 days of release, total domestic collection of Dangal was recorded as 345.30 crores, with which it has emerged as the biggest grossing movie of all time in Bollywood.

Now once again, the movie is in weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters than before but still has good hold. On third Monday, Aamir Khan starrer faced almost 35% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 4.35 crores to its account. Then on the next day i.e. Tuesday, with slight more drop it has minted 4.03 crores and made its 19 days total as 353.68 crores domestically.
