Box Office: Dangal 23rd Day Collection, Aamir Khan’s Film Still Holds Enough

23 Days Total Collection of Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal

After becoming the biggest grosser of all time in Bollywood, Aamir Khan’s recent offering Dangal has now won the title of ‘Best Film’ at Jio Filmfare Awards, held on 14th January in Mumbai. The superstar and director Nitesh Tiwari have also won the title of ‘Best Actor’ & ‘Best Director’ respectively for it. Due to its very strong & inspiring content, the movie has impressed everyone very much.

Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Dangal witnessed fabulous response through out the opening week and did the whopping business of 197.54 crores, including 107.01 crores of weekend and 90.53 crores of weekdays. In the second week too, it remained strong and registered the excellent business of 115.96 crores, that included 73.70 crores of weekend and 42.26 crore of weekdays.

Then in the third week, Dangal lost some of its pace but still showed good performance through out and raked the business of 46.35 crores, with 31.79 crores of weekend and 14.56 crores of weekdays. After 3 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 359.85 crores on domestic box office.

Now it is running in the fourth week and still has enough hold over the audience despite new awaited Hindi release OK Jaanu. On its 4th Friday, Aamir starrer faced almost 35% of drop and added the amount of 1.94 crores to its account. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, due to weekend Dangal received double response and minted the amount of 4.06 crores, which has made its 23 days domestic total as 365.85 crores.
