Box Office: Dangal 26th Day Collection, Aamir Khan’s Mammoth Continues its Reigning Strike

Latest collaboration of superstar Aamir Khan and director Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal has come as the winner movie of 2016. Being immensely awaited, it was released with great hype and received complete favor of audience as well as critics. As a result, it has emerged as the biggest grosser of all time in Bollywood with considerable different from PK (340.80 crores).

With tremendous response through out, Dangal did the phenomenal business of 197.54 crores in its opening week, which included 107.01 crores of weekend and 90.53 crores of weekdays. On the second week too, the movie showed similar performance and raked the amount of total 115.96 crores, with 73.70 crores of weekend and 42.26 crores of weekdays.

In its third week, this sports biopic had lost its some pace and witnessed lesser response than early weeks. But it managed to register good business of 46.35 crores, including 31.79 crores of weekend and 14.65 crores of weekdays. Now the movie is running in the fourth week and again enjoyed decent jump in its business graph this weekend.

Despite new awaited offering OK Jaanu, Dangal made the business of 10.24 crores in its fourth weekend, that was included 1.94 crore of Friday, 4.06 crores of Saturday and 4.24 crores of Sunday. After 24 days of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 370.09 crores on domestic box office.

Once again, it is in weekdays and getting lesser audience in theaters. On Monday, Aamir Khan‘s recent offering Dangal faced 30% of drop than Friday and added the amount of 1.37 crore to its account. With further decline, the movie minted the amount of 1.27 crore and made its 26 days domestic total as 372.73 crores net.
