Box Office: Dangal 3 Weeks Total Collection in China, Aims to Surpass Baahubali 2 Globally

Aamir Khan’s Dangal Strongly Completes 3 Weeks at China Box Office

Aamir Khan’s biggest blockbuster Dangal has completed it’s 3 weeks journey at China box office on a strong note. This sports biopic has grossed near 800 crores from China so far and raised it’s worldwide gross total to over 1525 crores.

Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial was initially released on 23 December 2016 in India as well as other international markets and registered phenomenal business. Then a month back it was released Taiwan and grossed around 26 crores from there so far.

On 5th of May, Dangal released in China on 9000 screens and did the massive business of 164.59 crores gross ($25.57mn), that included 78.31 crores ($12.17mn) of weekend and 86.28 crores ($13.40mn) of weekdays.

In the second week, the movie turned more stronger and raked the incredible business of 324.94 crores gross ($50.47mn) with 209.14 crores ($32.60mn) of weekend and 115.80 crores ($17.87mn) of weekdays.

Then in it’s third weekend, Dangal remained almost steady and bagged the amount of 219.07 crores gross ($33.92mn), including 39.06 crores ($6.05mn) of Friday, 104.89 crores ($16.24mn) of Saturday and 75.12 crores ($11.63mn) of Sunday.

In weekdays also, the movie reported excellent business and added the amount of 22.08 crores ($3.42mn) on Monday, 20.14 crores ($3.12mn) on Tuesday and 17.82 crores ($2.76mn) on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, with little more drop Dangal garnered the business of 16.20 crores ($2.27mn) and made it’s 3 weeks total collection as 784.84 crores gross ($121.53mn) from China.
