Box Office: Dangal 36th Day Collection, Earns 383.78 Cr Total in 5 Weeks from India

36 Days Total Collection of Aamir Khan’s Dangal

Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Dangal is already emerged as the biggest grossing movie of all time in Bollywood and still adding considerable figures to its business total with each single day. Being superstar Aamir Khan starrer, the movie was released with enormous hype among his fans and as expected received overwhelmed response from audience as well as critics cross the globe.

Dangal started its journey at box office on an exceptional note and registered the phenomenal business of 197.54 crores (Fri-Sun 107.01cr & Mon-Thu 90.53cr) in its opening week. In the second week too, it remained excellent and did the business of 115.96 crores (Fri-Sun 73.70cr & Mon-Thu 42.26cr). With usual drop in its pace, the movie raked the business of 46.35 crores (Fri-Sun 31.79cr & Mon-Thu 14.65cr) in the third week.

In the fourth week, Dangal had newly released OK Jaanu in opposite but still managed to add decent business total of 15.08 crores (Fri-Sun 10.24cr & Mon-Thu 4.84cr) to its account. With usual declination, it minted the amount of 8.85 crores (Fri-Sun 6.12cr, Mon 0.94cr, Tue 1.01cr, Wed 0.24cr, Thu 0.54cr) in its fifth week. After the 5 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 383.78 crores on domestic box office.

Now this sports biopic has entered in the sixth week and getting low response now, because of two newly released much awaited Hindi offerings, Shahrukh Khan’s Raees & Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil. On its 6th Friday, Dangal reported lesser response than previous day and collected the amount of 0.28 crore from Indian screens.
