Superstar Aamir Khan’s recent offering Dangal is continuing with its dream run across the country as well as overseas. Being year’s highly awaited movie, it has been released with enormous buzz and as expected getting overwhelmed response audience. From critics also, the movie has received super positive reviews, which have generated strong word of mouth about it and attracting more audience toward theaters.

Based on the real life of Mahavir Singh Phogar and his daughters Geeta Phogat & Babita Kumari, this Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial has impressed everyone with its very inspiring story and brilliant performances by the lead actors. All these things makes Dangal one of the best movies of the year and this is why within in the first week, it has become the second highest grossing movie of the year after Salman Khan’s Sultan.

In the opening weekend, Dangal recorded incredible performance and did the phenomenal business of 107.01 crores, which included 29.78 crores of Friday, 34.82 crores of Saturday and 42.41 crores of Sunday. Now the movie is running in weekdays and still remained very strong on box office globally. On Monday, it reported almost 14% of drop than Friday and raked the business of 25.69 crores.

Then on Tuesday, Aamir Khan starrer faced slight more drop and added the impressive amount of 23.09 crores. On the next day i.e. Wednesday with further decline, it minted the amount of 21.20 crores and made its 6 days total collection as 176.99 crores on domestic box office. From international market too, the movie is getting quite excellent response and crossed the mark of 100 crores from there.
