Box Office: Dear Zindagi 10th Day Collection, Earns 57 Cr Total till 2nd Weekend

10 Days Total Collection of Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi

Emotion queen Alia Bhatt’s recent offering, the drama movie Dear Zindagi with superstar Shahrukh Khan, has passed its second weekend trial on a good note. Being highly star powered and promoted, it was released with immense excitement of fans and as expected received overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as from international market. The movie has impressed everyone and still heading smoothly in its second week despite the new release Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2.

Due to its meaningful story, sincere direction and brilliant performances by lead stars, Dear Zindagi has got very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Both the actors have done marvelous acting as always, especially Alia. Once again she has proved her skills and left strong impact over viewers. Director Gauri Shinde is also being appreciated for her great work.

In the opening week, Dear Zindagi remained excellent through out and did the business of 47 crores from 1200 screens in India. This was included 32.50 crores of weekend and 14.50 crores of weekdays. Now the movie is running in the second week and reported good business in the second weekend due to positive word of mouth.

On its 2nd Friday, the movie faced almost 25% of drop than previous day but managed to collect decent amount of 2.25 crores. Then on Saturday, as expected it showed fair growth in its occupancy and raked the business of 3.50 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday Dear Zindagi recorded higher occupancy and minted the amount of 4.35 crores to make its 10 days total as 57.10 crores on domestic box office.
